Stark Community Foundation

In 2004, Fred Olivieri Construction Company, the nonprofit construction company of choice, was tasked with orchestrating an extensive renovation to the old Yohe/St. Edward Hotel building that was built in 1891. The Stark Community Foundation spear headed the renovation of the building to house various offices within the building, including the offices for the Stark Community Foundation. The foundation provides funding to businesses and non-profits throughout the area. The renovation project included extensive renovations to restore the building façade, windows, and supporting infrastructure. The new exterior and egress towers provided the structure to renovate the existing four-story building. In 2005 the building was designated a Registered Historic Landmark for Stark County, Ohio. Many local partners have been able to utilize the office space and meeting rooms for their businesses that provide services within our community.
